Dr. J. Aravind Kumar, HOD
Dr. J.Aravind Kumar, Associate Professor in the Institute of Energy and Environmental Engineering, Saveetha School of Engineering, SIMATS, Tamilnadu, India. He has completed B.Tech (Biotechnology) in Priyadarshini Engineering College, Madras University in the year 1996-2000 and pursued M.E (Environmental Engineering at Sathyabama University, Chennai, 2007-2009. He has completed his Ph.D (Chemical Engineering), Sathyabama University, Chennai, 2013-2019. He has 15 years of teaching experience, 06 years of research experience. His area of research interest is Wastewater treatment technology, Pollution control, and environmental remediation. He has published 35+ research and review papers in highly reputed international journals and 10+ Book chapters in Elsevier, Springer, CRC Press, etc. He has 250+ citations with a google scholar h-index of 7+ along with i10 index of 2. He has been awarded the Best Researcher Award 2018-2019, 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 consecutively for three years. He has obtained the best paper award from Indian Society for Surface Science and Technology for one of his article published in the Journal of Surface Science and Technology in the year 2019.He has completed one UBA project based on biocides for sustainable agriculture to his credit. He has attended more than 20 externally/internally funded conferences /workshops / seminars at national and international level. He is a member of IICHE and IAENG. He is acting as a reviewer for various international journals Elsevier, Springer and Taylor & Francis publications.

Dr.M.Lavanya is currently working as Assistant professor in the Department of Instrumentation and Control Systems with an experience of about 9 years in undergraduate program in teaching. She obtained her Undergraduate program from Anna university in 2010 and Postgraduate from Anna University in Applied Electronics in 2012 and PhD from Saveetha University in 2019. Areas of interest and specialization include Image Processing, Control Systems and Renewable Energy. She has more than 30 publications to her credit. Dr. S. Jaanaa Rubavathy, Associate Professor
Dr.S. Jaanaa Rubavathy is currently working as Associate professor in the Department of Instrumentation and Control Systems with a teaching experience of about 16.5 years in UG program. She obtained her Undergraduate program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bharathiyar university in 2002 and Postgraduate from SASTRA University in Power Electronics and drives in 2004 and PhD from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology in 2018. Dr. N. Anbuselvan received the B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from university of Madras in year 2000, received the master of technology in Sensor System Technology from Vellore Institute of Technology in the year 2004 and Ph.D. degree in field of Nanoelectronics HEMT device from Anna University in the year 2019. He has teaching experience of about 18 years in both undergraduate and postgraduate level program. He has attended 10 international conferences and more than 40 National and International level events (Workshops, Industrial Training Programs, Seminars & FDPs) in various colleges and universities. His area of interest is the field of Nano Electronics, MOS Device Physics, RF/Analog Performance investigation of novel MOS device structures, and Power Electronics devices. Have international journal publication around 25 in impact journal, Scopus & WoS index journal and guided many enormous student projects in the field of Nano device, VLSI design, Image Processing, Wavelet Analysis and Artificial Intelligence. He also serves as reviewer to some reputed journals.

He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna university in 2011 and received Gold Medal & University First Rank in Master’s degree in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning from Anna University in 2013 and Doctorate degree in the field of Thermal Energy Storage System from Anna University in 2020 under INSPIRE Fellowship from the Government of India, Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi, INDIA. His Areas of interest and specialization include Energy Storage, Phase Change Materials and Renewable Energy. He has published papers in a reputed journals and conferences. She has been awarded a Ph.D., in the field of Environmental Engineering from VIT University, Vellore in 2016. She has completed her PG programme M.Tech., Energy and Environmental Engineering, at VIT University, Vellore during the year 2009-2011. She has donevher B.Tech.degree in Information Technology at Adhiparasakthi college of Engineering, Kalavai, in the year 2009. She has published her research work in peer-reviewed International and National Journals and also presented in International and National Conferences. She has been a Senior Research Fellow of CSIR during her Doctorate degree programme at VIT University, Vellore. She has got two Research awards from VIT University, Vellore for the publication in peer- reviewed journals during the year 2013-14 and 2014-15.

She did her M.E. at S.K.P. Engineering College, and she completed her Ph.D. in 2021 at National Institute of Technology in Tiruchirappalli. She passed the GATE exam. She is a life member of I.S.T.E. She has five international publications in various journals, which are indexed in SCI and Scopus. Her research interests are in control systems, sliding mode control design, control techniques for Power Electronics and Power System applications, and renewable energy applications.
